Students have more flexibility to move into diverse fields such as financial planning, macroeconomic-financial forecasting, trading, financial-economic research as well as risk and asset management in banking. To remain competitive in an increasingly complex financial ecosystem, this programme also incorporates topics in the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Registered Financial Planner (RFP) and Securities Commission Licensing Examination modules to prepare students for these certifications.

Students pursuing three finance degrees, on completing a year-2 subject (Personal Financial Planning) will earn exemptions from 2 subjects and permitted to carry the ‘associate member’ title as Registered Financial Planner of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council.
